Our appeal of the base year assessment of a 5 Diamond Resort hotel- condominium development in Beverly Hills resulted in a base year (permanent) assessment reduction in excess of $40,000,000 below the cost to construct the property. This reduction resulted in the issuance of refunds in excess of $8,000,000 to the taxpayer from Los Angeles County.
